Kielce retail market

Most of the current retail schemes in Kielce were built in the first years of the 21st century. The exception is Galeria Korona, which was delivered to the market in 2012. Four major shopping centers are at the customers’ disposal with a total area of above 150,000 m2. Two of them - Centrum Radomska and Pasaż Świętokrzyski - are district galleries, located in the suburbs of the city. The regional shopping center - Galeria Echo, with an area of over 70,000 m2, is the largest and best-equipped scheme in Kielce. There is different food operator in each centre, that is why residents can choose from: Auchan (formerly Real), E.Leclerc, Piotr i Paweł and Tesco. Among the changes taking place in the Kielce retail market, we can note the withdrawal of Mango, KaphAll, Organic Farma Zdrowia from Galeria Echo. However, it is worth mentioning, that this gallery has also gained many new tenants, including Cage, Loox Galeria Optyki, Martes Sport and others, which significantly affected the decrease of the vacancy rate in the market (1.8%). Some of the brands from the Inditex group (Pull and Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Zara) closed their stores in Korona shopping centre. However, as in the case of Galeria Echo, it also gained new tenants - among others Ochnik, Pizza Hut Delex restaurant and the point of Semilac.
