The retail market in Poznań is changing to reflect current trends. The entertainment and leisure sector is more and more visible in retail schemes. In response to the clients’ growing expectations, Avenida expanded its offer, among others, by Interaktywne Muzeum Strachu (House of Panic), Escape Room, Piwnica Grozy. The vacancy rate in the city has decreased. This is, among others, due to the fact that in the M1 shopping centre, the area previously occupied by Praktiker, from the DIY sector, has been leased. Among the new tenants there are, among others, Just GYM fitness club chain. In the Posnania gallery, the brand with electronics Xiaomi debuted in the Wielkopolska’s market - as an Mi store (the fourth store in Poland). In turn, the Malta shopping centre has terminated its contract with the sports clothing and equipment chain - GO Sport. The interiors of Poznan’s galleries also change - for example in the Poznań Plaza, new facilities involve convenience and arrangement of the foodcourt zone, aesthetics of common spaces, access from a multi-storey car park.
