Poznań at holiday season

There is no slightest trace of the Christmas market in the Poznań’s old town. Now, gastronomy tenants adapt their holiday offers to the needs of tourists. In place of mulled wine one can choose from a big variety of ice-creams, waffles and a new thing mysteriously named Covrig. This is a small gastronomic point offering sweet and savoury snacks in the form of freshly baked pretzels at the 27 Półwiejska street.

Another novelty at 13 Półwiejska street is a future-bound no-cash-register shop - Take&Go. During the tour, the last adaptation works were carried out in the store – due to be opened already in September. Shopping like this is a completely new consumer experience. During the next visit to Poznań we will definitely visit this store again to test the quick and convenient shopping concept of Surge Cloud.

Świety Marcin street, after a reconstruction of its section from Ratajczak’s street to Gwarna street has regained the glamour of a presentable high street of yore. Now, along the entire street the commercial and service premises have gained in attractiveness and the previously visible empty premises for rent are disappearing. After a long break the street is finally full of life.
