What’s new on Warsaw’s high streets?

During half-year monitoring of 35 high streets in Warsaw Colliers experts noted following trends:

• high rotation of tenants and vacancy rate growth;

• fashion chains gradually withdrawing from high street locations;

• bank branches network optimization related to growing popularity of online services;

• stable development of restaurants, bars, clubs and cafes connected with high rotation of concepts;

• dynamic development of grocery store chains, with Carrefour Express and Żabka ahead of competition;

• development of specialized food stores (bakeries, butchers, confectioneries, ice cream shops);

• development of non-chain health & beauty stores and services (hair coif, beautician, SPA, soap stores).

Other curiosities observed by Colliers experts are: decrease of number of kiosks, optimization of Rossmann drugstores network and new openings of Flying Tiger Copenhagen stores. Also, new convenience store of Żabka has been opened at Nowy Świat street and Douglas perfumery at Chmielna street has been closed recently.
